The bridesmaids' dresses

check this beauty out

a dress like this would be adorable in royal purple

cute and simple/elegant

So that's just a few ideas. ....

dress color: "royal plum"

basically we are going for a vintage/classy look but something that will still look good with boots around the knee-high range. think mad men/1920s-1930s-1940s but not flapper. i haven't decided on the boots yet that is in keeping with the rustic/farm-y theme.

no cleavage/boob dresses ..... best length will be just above or at the knee (remember, the boots) so that just a bit of your tights or whatever are showing.

the dresses should be feminine but not super clingy

no super shiny satiny stuff.

just keep it CLASSY <3  <3 <3

you can do sleeveless or short sleeves.

if you can, don't spend more than $100! find something you'll wear again.

the yellows are for a button-down, long-sleeved cardigan to wear over the dress, any of the yellows are fine.

    Ok so I found a bunch of links for pretty purple dresses but the blog is giving me shit and I can't figure out how to put direct links in the comment box so I just cut and pasted each site...     Please can we do the bridal shower the weekend before the wedding or something? Or around that time? I know it has to be what works best for everyone, most especially you. I just really might not be able to cross the country twice. I'll be able to best be helpful and contribute if I could devote the $700 plane trip towards your festivities. <3 I LOVE the first dress you posted, Karen! Did you go with it, Ari?     Girls, I just went to buy the dress on the site Karen shared, and it was SOLD OUT!!! Oh, nooo!!! BUT! Excellent news - I decided to do a bit of poking around, and because of my mad research skillz, I did manage to find it on Amazon! For MUCH cheaper, both for the dress itself & for shipping!!     Karen what are your thoughts on some of us in the same dress? Also any ideas on boots yet? The style of the boots may affect what dress is best...
